Vegan chocolate chip cookies

About the Recipe

Even if you are not vegan, you will love these cookies! Yum yum yum absolutely delicious!


280g flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

160g vegan butter, room temperature

300g sugar / eryrthritol

125g applesauce

1 tsp vanilla extract

200g dark choc chips (70%)


  • Preheat oven to 190 °C

  • Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt.

  • In a large bowl, cream the butter, sugar/erythritol, applesauce, vanilla.

  • Add wet and dry ingredients together, mix well to form a moist dough.

  • Stir in the choc chips.

  • Scoop out rounded tablespoons of dough, use your hand to roll them into balls, and place on the baking sheets, 5cm apart.

  • Place one baking sheet at a time in middle of oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden

  • Remove and leave to cool for 10 minutes on tray, and then transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
